Dr. Alfred F. Attah obtained his first degree in Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin, MSc in Pharmacognosy from the Ahmadu Bello University, and a Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy from the University of Ibadan, Nigeira. He received the OeAD scholarship from the Austrian government, trained on Biopharmaceutical Product Development and manufacturing facilitated (University of Waterloo, Canada). The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), Brazil selected him as an outstanding Scientist for training at the Advanced School in Natural products, Sao Paulo, Brazil and was awarded the prestigious Grand Challenges Canada’s Stars in Global Health round 5. He’s a postdoctoral alumnus of the Medical University of Vienna, Austria since 2018 and a currently the acting head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Drug Development, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He has over 40 publications to his name and is now most passionate about sustainable translational research from the field to the bedside.
